Scale Inhibitors
Includes any products that can be described/observed as a device that is connected to a water supply pipe to specifically inhibit/prevent scale, either temporarily or permanently. By altering the structure or characteristics of the scale particles these devices prevent them from adhering or being deposited on plumbing fixtures, pipe work or heat exchangers. These products are either integrated as part of the pipe system or attached externally. Includes products such as magnetic scale inhibitors and electrical scale inhibitors.
Excludes: Specifically excludes de-scalers which remove scale once is has been deposited. Excludes products such as Water Filters, Water Softeners and Water Treatments.
