Includes any products that can be described/observed as an egg based product, not ready to eat, which has been prepared to a specific recipe where eggs are the main ingredient with other ingredients such as protein, vegetables or sauce. These ingredients form a valuable part of the product. Omelettes and souffles would be examples of prepared egg based products. These products may have a main component which is considered a meal without any additional components. These products require cooking prior to consumption. These products must be refrigerated to extend their consumable life. Includes not ready to eat perishable Ready-Made Meals where an Egg Based Product is the primary ingredient.
Excludes: Excludes Ready-Made Combination Meals. Specifically excludes all eggs to which no recipe has been applied.Excludes products such as frozen and shelf stable not ready to eat egg based products as well as dough or grain based products that have added egg ingredients that are classified elsewhere.
