Door/Gate Entry Intercoms
Includes any products that can be described/observed as an electronic audio communication system situated at the entry door or gate of a property. The system allows two-way verbal communication between the caller outside and the occupant inside and is a safety measure to prevent unwanted callers or intruders. Includes products such as corded and cordless sets as well as systems with automatic answering and door unlocking facilities.
Excludes: Excludes products such as intra-home or intra-company intercoms which provide two-way communication between rooms, as classified in the Communications segment. Excludes any smarthome operated intercom systems for which often an app, a smartphone or the presence of WIFI is needed.
