Wind Turbines
Includes any products that can be described/observed as a device that converts the kinetic energy of wind into electrical energy. Wind turbines consist of rotor blades attached to a central hub, which is connected to a generator that produces electricity. As the wind blows, the rotor blades spin, which in turn rotates the generator, producing electrical energy. Wind turbines can vary in size, from small turbines that are used to power individual homes or small businesses to large turbines that are part of wind farms that generate electricity for the grid.
Excludes: Excludes products such as water turbines and solar panels.
